An African ABC is designed for anybody between four and 104: for the very young, to enjoy the sound of the words read by an adult; for older children, to encourage the use of the glossary (and their own dictionaries), to increase and improve their vocaularies; and lastly, for adults and children alike, the enjoyment of bright, detailed illustrations, giving a little insight into the Flora, fauna, places and customs of Africa.
As Africa is so huge and diverse, the author has focused on Southern African in particular as it is her homland and therefore more familiar.
